2025 Skin & Wound Care Workshop

UHCA has partnered with United Wound Healing to host an all-day in-person Skin & Wound Workshop. Join us on August 6th at the Cascades at Riverwalk (1012 Jordan River Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047) to learn from the experts in the industry and get hands-on experience with wound care.

About

Attend this basic to intermediate program to update your wound prevention and management knowledge and skills.  This workshop will discuss pressure injury risk factors, prevention strategies, and other hard-to-heal wound etiologies such as arterial and venous insufficiency, diabetic foot ulcers, and more.  Join us to learn best practices and regulatory guidelines for the wound assessment, documentation, and reporting mandates from CMS, in addition to a session on infection control in wound care.

Who should attend?

This program is appropriate for new and seasoned nurses, facility or corporate management leadership, MDS Coordinators, PT/OT, providers, and others involved in wound prevention and management in the Post-Acute LTC setting.
