This 2 day intensive course will help you build a foundation of Infection Prevention for your facility. You will learn standard precautions, environmental cleaning & disinfection, injection & medication safety, surveillance, how to do a risk assessment, employee/occupational health, and multi-drug resistance and antibiotic stewardship, along with going into further detail of specific organisms and infections. Every attendee will receive a 475 page manual/toolkit to bring back to their facility after the training. Every attendee of the full course will be eligible to take an exam shortly after the course to show knowledge of the information. You will receive a certificate once completed and passed. This is a great opportunity to be prepared for the new Conditions of Participation requirement and have a better knowledge base on infections for your facility! The cost is $650 per person for the full course and manual.
